Razer announced a concept AI wearable at CES that resembles a pair of wireless headphones (or Razer’s Barracuda gaming headsets, to be precise), with two camera lenses built into the ear cups.
The current iteration of Project Motoko is powered by an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and uses dual first-person-view cameras positioned at eye level to capture objects, text, and anything else around you. There are also multiple microphones for receiving voice commands, dialogue, and environmental audio, and hands-free controls for managing audio settings.
Motoko is designed to be compatible with all major AI models, including those from Ope …

Aqara came to Vegas with a number of smart home firsts in its rapidly growing portfolio. It’s showcasing an impressive smart lock that unlocks on approach, a thermostat with support for Apple’s Adaptive Temperature and Clean Energy Guidance, a Matter-enabled camera, and a pair of sensors to track human occupants and objects.
The Camera Hub G350 and Thermostat Hub W200 both function as Matter controllers, fitted with dual-band Wi-Fi, Thread, and Zigbee radios. They also support Aqara’s quest for “Spatial Intelligence” that allows the hubs to act as a central point to connect and manage both Aqara devices and Matter-compatible products. It’s …
Razer is making an AI anime waifu hologram for your desk

Razer’s Project Ava AI game coach from last year’s CES is taking a new form for 2026: a tiny holographic anime girl in a capsule you can put on your desk. Anime girls in pods were already a thing at CES 2025, but Razer’s take on it is much smaller and desk-friendly. The new Project Ava is a 5.5-inch animated hologram that can take the form of Kira, an anime waifu in a green dress and black thigh-high socks, or Zane, a muscled dude covered in snake tattoos. Razer plans to add other avatars later, including real people like esports star Faker, or you can opt for a nonhuman glowing orb of light.
Project Ava avatars are designed to have “natura …

Ring is introducing a host of new security devices and technologies, including a new line of security cameras and a mobile trailer equipped with a camera that can cover large areas. While these devices were developed mostly for enterprise-level security, they can be purchased and used for home and other uses as well.
To begin, a line of new Ring Elite 4K security devices will come in four configurations: a 140-degree viewing angle using two cameras at $499.99; a 200-degree viewing angle using three cameras at $599.99; a 290-degree viewing angle using five cameras (that you can mount on the corner of a building to see both sides) for $749.99 …

Razer is combining its various gaming chair add-ons of speakers, RGB lighting, and force feedback into one proof of concept: Project Madison. It features dual RGB light strips in the top corners, a pair of THX-certified speakers with spatial audio (which can act as the rear channels in 5.1 or 7.1 audio setups), and six haptic motor actuators in the cushions to barrage your back and posterior with Razer’s Sensa rumble.
Razer took some of these building blocks from previously released chair accessories. The Razer Clio is a headrest with wireless THX spatial audio speakers. The Freyja is a haptics-filled seat cushion that can go on any chair, …
Razer’s new controller has TMR sticks and ultra-low latency Bluetooth for use with TVs

Razer is announcing a new Wolverine V3 BT controller at CES 2026 that’s designed for TVs. It’s the world’s first gamepad to use ultra-low latency Bluetooth, allowing it a sub-3ms response time, and the first accessory to launch under LG’s “Designed for LG Gaming Portal” program. But since it’s been developed in collaboration with LG, the Wolverine V3 BT can only achieve that ultra-low latency when used with compatible LG TVs running webOS 25. It works as a universal Bluetooth gamepad with any device supporting Bluetooth controllers, including other TVs, but it won’t get ultra-low latency when doing so.

Vibe Bot is an AI agent that sits on your desk

Smart whiteboard manufacturer Vibe is expanding further into hybrid work hardware with the Vibe Bot, a physical AI device that can serve as a voice assistant, a smart webcam, and an AI note-taker, designed for office desks and meeting rooms.
Despite the name, Vibe Bot is definitely not a robot. In fact it’s closer to something you’d expect to find among Amazon’s Echo line: a cylindrical speaker with a small, circular screen, beam-forming microphones, and a built-in 4K camera for video calls. Like some of Amazon’s Echo Shows, it can even rotate that screen and camera, tracking speakers in group conversations to make sure that the right perso …
Dell’s new 4K QD-OLED monitor offers true 10-bit color

Dell announced at CES 2026 that it’ll launch the UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED Monitor on February 24th for $2,599.99. Despite having released a productivity-focused 4K QD-OLED of the same size in 2025 that regularly sold for well under $1,000, its new one costs more mainly due to having greater color accuracy for creative professionals.
The company is pitching this as a display suited for those who do color grading, broadcast work, and film editing. Dell claims “true-to-life” color accuracy with a Delta E <1 rating, and it has an integrated colorimeter that stores calibration preferences on-device. Its press release claims that it offers true 1 …
Dell made a big-ass 52-inch 6K Thunderbolt display

The world’s first 52-inch 6K monitor has arrived in Dell’s UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor, which was announced at CES 2026. It’s a 21:9 aspect ratio screen that’s slightly curved (4200R) and can display up to 6,144 x 2,560 at up to 120Hz refresh rate (with VRR support). Its IPS Black panel type offers deeper blacks and better contrast than standard IPS, although I wonder if its 129 pixels per inch (PPI) is low enough to make some of its pixels noticeable up close.
This monitor is absolutely packed with ports since it doubles as a Thunderbolt dock. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and one Thunderbolt 4 port with v …

Pila Energy’s home batteries are now available to preorder with deliveries expected to begin in February 2026. These power stations are meant to be seen, unlike most batteries in this class that are better suited for job sites than designer lofts. Pila’s home batteries are designed to keep critical devices like a fridge running during a blackout, while also helping to reduce daily energy costs.
It’s a similar idea to Backup by BioLite, which was announced in 2024 but still hasn’t shipped.
With Pila, you could plug one battery unit, measuring 15.0 × 26.5 × 3.3 inches (380 × 675 × 85mm) and 45lbs (20.4kg), into a standard 120V kitchen wall o …
